About Teviah Sachs
Biography
Dr. Teviah Sachs is Professor & Director of the UAB Division of Surgical Oncology.
He specializes in liver, pancreas, biliary, and stomach cancers, as well as soft tissue sarcoma.
He is dual board certified in both complex general surgical oncology and general surgery.
He obtained his medical degree from New York Medical College and completed residency in General Surgery at Harvard / Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He obtained a Master of Public Health degree from the T.H. Chan Harvard School of Public Health. He completed his fellowship in Complex General Surgical Oncology at Johns Hopkins University.
Dr. Sachs has published over 130 articles exploring research areas of surgical outcomes, surgical education, and quality improvement.
