Everyone at front desk including Michael the jokester scheduler was great the SNP Sharon Green both nurses and assistants,Lona in lab with taking blood samples to lady taking X-rays from start to finishandnfollowup nurses on getting right pharmacy called in were great. The only recommendation I would make for UAB Health System because you are primarily on line with appointments in your portals, the patient gets tired of always being the person constantly calling in or online to correct or make sure mistakes are not made in the intake or appointment process. Who ever gets to seen the primary care doctor or specialty doc must be the lucky one. Also I was charged $18 instead of $13 for my Orimary Physician visit at even though my insurance requires $13 for Primary Carenvisitsnat Lee Branc with Nurses and SNP’snappointments from start to finish To finish

needed to be seen quickly. called and got appt in an hour. met with Sharon Green who took care of my situation. had blood test. received blood test results by late afternoon. got my needed prescription filled that evening. office was neat and clean, friendly folks through out.

If I wanted doc-in-the-box service, I would have just gone to one. It’s already difficult to schedule an appointment with y’all, but this service might have been the largest waste of my time for medical intervention. “Get your fill of calories, remember to drink Gatorade over Propel.” To not do blood work is wild… I’m majorly disappointed. You’ve definitely perturbed my perception in receiving “primary” care, it sure felt inadequate for my main source of care. I realize you’re not specialist, I just expect y’all to try harder than this.

The nurse was super nice. I don’t believe my nurse practitioner had the experience nor the expertise to be holding a position for UAB. I absolutely didn’t feel like I was talking with a physician that had any general experience. Overall it was a waste of all our time, because she didn’t know enough to actually help, and I did the legwork in getting X-rays and labs drawn, because I was more aware of where I stood medically with my recent diagnosis and symptoms. She also didn’t offer a steroidal eye drop for my conjunctivitis, so I’m handling that elsewhere this morning.
