I did not get to see Dr. Kolettis for the appointment. I arrived at 7:55 and checked in early for the 8:15 appointment. I had still not been called to the back by 8:30 after watching several people that checked in after me get called back. I expressed my concerns to the front desk and told them I could not wait more than 10 more minutes to be called back. A desk member went back and brought out a nurse who could not guarantee that I would see Dr. Kolletis within another half hour. I had important meetings at work starting at 9:30 and should not have to worry about an 8:15 follow up appointment that became untimely interfering with that. That should have been plenty of time. I chose to leave without seeing Dr.Kolletis. My time is as valuable as any of the medical staff, and waiting an indefinite time to be seen is not always an option. I respect Dr. Kolletis more than any doctor I’ve ever met, and this is not about him. It’s about over-scheduling patients and expecting people to always be able to allow an hour or more for a pre-scheduled appointment. It’s not unreasonable to expect to not still be sitting in the lobby at 8:30 for an 8:15 appointment, knowing that even after you get called back there will be even more waiting as noted by the nurse. Again, Dr.Kolletis is awesome, and has performed many kidney stone procedures for me, and I will continue to use him in the future. This is not a critique of him at all. I just could not spare the additional time yesterday.

Everyone was knowledgeable and friendly. They seemed concerned with my needs. They were also very fast at getting me registered and back for the procedure, overall, they care about patients and their needs as well as those waiting for patients to be done.
