About Pankaj Arora
Biography
My clinical interests are focused on providing genomics integrated, comprehensive cardiovascular care. My clinical areas of interest include pharmacogenomics, non-ischemic cardiomyopathies, and the genetic determinants of common cardiometabolic conditions such as heart attack, heart failure, hypertension, high cholesterol levels, and diabetes.
My clinical and translational research program is focused on translating experimental knowledge and discoveries into an improved understanding of human physiology through clinically-focused patient-oriented research. The main focus of the research program is on understanding the causal role of deficient natriuretic peptide signaling in the development of cardiometabolic diseases and physiological and pharmacological means of mitigating this.
The Arora Translational Lab is actively involved in research focused on cardiovascular epidemiology, human clinical trials, molecular biology, and cardiovascular genetics.
