About Natalie Jewett
Biography
I pursued my undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Missouri before moving to Birmingham to complete my Family Medicine Residency with the Cahaba – UAB Urban track in the West End neighborhood of Birmingham. My husband and I (unexpectedly) fell in love with Birmingham and decided to stay and work as faculty at UAB after residency. I love seeing patients from all ages and backgrounds, from newborns to geriatrics. The best part of my job is getting to build relationships with my patients and know them as a whole person, not just a symptom. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy running, supporting local businesses, and reading a good book. My husband and I spend a lot of our time welcoming international students studying at UAB into our Southside home and are passionate about learning about other’s cultures and stories.

Dr. Jewett is great. Very kind. the front desk and back desk staff were more interested in talking to each other and their phones than working. I had to interrupt to check in and to check out. Other than that, the visit was good

Being a teaching hospital, I knew going in I would be seeing more than just my PCP. I am all about some new blood with good training. I have met very professional and caring young people, and am very happy with the clinic so far. My PCP more than meets my expectations. I'm new to Alabama and have had a hard time finding a doctor. So yes! I will spread the word.
