I have a clinical interest in utilizing proton therapy for pediatric malignancies, hepatobiliary tumors, lung cancer and lymphomas. I hope to make proton therapy more widely available by improving clinical efficiency for the proton center at UAB.

Wonderful experience with all employees! The first person we saw was in the valet area and he was so kind and even helped my daughter get the walker out of the trunk and set it up for me to use. Very respectful and helpful Ladies at front desk were smiling okeasant and very helpful. Technician who took vitals was very pleasant and took time to answer some broad questions but reminded us to talk to the doctor for information specific to my needs. Doctors took their time and I really felt listened to. They did not rush through the appointment and answered my questions. Those in the treatment area were all so friendly! Excellent experience from start to finish!

Dr Soike and his team have been so kind during my treatment and after. The nurses always come to say hello when I have appointments. Dr Soike is always respectful and attentive. He never makes me feel silly about my issues or questions.
