About Marc Passman
Biography
A native of Hartford, Conn., Dr. Passman received his undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Maine, in 1987 and medical degree at the University of Vermont, Burlington, Vt. in 1991. He completed his surgical residency in general surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University in 1997, and vascular fellowship at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999. Dr. Passman was on faculty at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tenn., as an assistant professor of surgery from 1999 to 2006. He joined the faculty at UAB in 2006 as an associate professor, rising to the rank of professor in 2011.

Friendly staff. They made sure we were able to meet with the physician asap so that we could get back on the road since we came from 4 hours away. The doctor was professional and courteous and gave us an option other than immediate surgery.

Almost every employee was rude. I don’t feel the doctor even gave wnytbing. He did not try and recommend another doctor that might could help. I had one positive experience and that was the tech that did my tests.
