About Katelyn Mullins
Biography
Katelyn Mullins, NP, is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner specializing in the management of osteoporosis and osteopenia at the Fragility Fracture Clinic at University of Alabama Hospital. With a strong foundation in emergency nursing, Katelyn brings extensive experience in acute patient care and rapid clinical decision-making to her current role. She has also served as a nurse practitioner in kidney transplant, where she developed expertise in complex patient management and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Katelyn is dedicated to improving bone health and reducing fracture risk in her patients through evidence-based interventions and patient education. She is passionate about empowering individuals to take an active role in their bone health and recovery.
Outside of her clinical practice, Katelyn enjoys spending time with her husband and children, making the most of her free time with family activities.
