Concern for patient

Yes, I think it's horrible that I have pain due to my keinbocks disease, and UAB is not willing to help with my pain until I get surgery. X-rays, MRIs and all show my condition and y'all are saying there isn't anything to be prescribed to help with the pain. My family doc, referring doctors have helped as much as they could, and gave me a pain medicine until I got in there with UAB and UAB says there's nothing they can do! I don't believe that, and I shouldn't have to live in this pain when I know there's something they can give me to help alieve the pain. Not even an Ibuprofen was offered! Or even a referral to pain management!

I lost my phone while there. A woman named Zan was extremely kind and helpful helping me look for it. We did find it. People in that office are great and I love Dr Lau.

The parking payment process is a challenge for many of your patient population, namely seniors who don't use cell phones for paying bills, etc., and aren't tech savvy. As an employee myself of UAB, I was very angered yesterday about how the parking payment is set up. There is no information given to the payment prior to the Dr visit, and no information explain g that parking must be paid in advance. Patients are forced to provide banking and private info on their phones to some company out of Atlanta.
