Joshua Stein, MD, MS

Dr. Josh Stein is a board-certified ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist who provides comprehensive care for patients with glaucoma and other optic nerve disorders. He specializes in the early detection, treatment, and long-term management of glaucoma, offering medical, laser, and surgical therapies tailored to each patient’s needs. Dr. Stein completed his glaucoma fellowship at Duke University. At UAB, his research focuses on improving eye care quality, expanding access to treatment, and advancing the use of data and technology in ophthalmology.
