I love everything about the visit and the doctor was very nice.

I should not have been asked my DOB in the open lobby/waiting area after calling my name for all to hear. I was then told in the lobby/waiting area (remember this is the open area at the bottom of the escalator on busy fist floor of TKC) that my insurance did not cover a procedure and I would have to pay for it. I asked how much and was told they had no idea. I was then told, ""Well I guess she can see you and discuss things you can do"". I felt like unless I had the procedure there was no reason for my visit. Since I drove an hour I stayed and actually had a very beneficial visit with the provider. I was then asked to complete the form declining the test with no ability to appeal BCBS decision to decline. I asked why I wasn't notified prior to arriving and was told they just checked my insurance this morning. WOW! Not great customer service.

I underwent a pelvic exam. The staff was wonderful, but while scheduling the visit, it would have been nice to know that type of exam might occur.
