About James Hwang

Biography

Dr. Hwang completed his residency in general surgery at State University of New York at Buffalo, followed by fellowship training in burn surgery at the University of South Florida and a surgical critical care fellowship at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. He served on faculty at the University of North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center from 2010-2017. He was then recruited to UAB to become the director of the UAB Burn Program.
