I saw my physician and validated their feelings of being helpful and right about specializing in one organ system of the body. I trust my physician on cardiac risks but like all physicians including primary care physicians, there is a serious lack of coordination of the patient's bodily systems that are interdependent. It is not a patient care team but a specialist care team serving the needs of a particular specialty designated clinic.

Yes I love the cardiology department, they have taken care of me for 20 years plus, the department continues to elevate in many areas which is a positive. My cardiologist Dr. Gilbert Perry has been exceptional thru out my years of coming to the Kirklin clinic. He is truly a God sent Cardiologist

The staff were great and Dr. Perry was very helpful, but the wait time was frustrating. I waited in a room for 30+ minutes before I saw the doctor. My appointment was at 3 pm, but I did not see him until closer to 4 pm.
