Biography

I grew up in Birmingham, and left home to go to college at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. I returned to my hometown for Medical School at UAB, and stayed for residency as well. I have been lucky to work in the Division of General Medicine and take care of patients since 2006.

Research Interests

I teach residents how to take care of patients in the outpatient setting. I am the clinic director for one of the residency program clinics, and often lecture on topics that are important in outpatient medicine. I hope to train the next generation of excellent primary care doctors.

    I arrived a little early for my appointment and was taken to an exam room in a timely manner and was seen quickly. Dr. Snyder, addressed my reason for being there and we arrived to plan and a follow up.

    The gentleman at the parking lot booth was very kind and helpful. Also, the young man at the front of the building helping people come in and out getting in and out of vehicles was very polite and helpful. Even coming to the handicapped parking to help lift the chair into the car. He wasn't just sitting, watchful and helping us all. I really appreciate it. He didn't mind being in that heat after 2 pm. Helpful with a smile! Thank you for having him there!
