Seems like doctors are too overloaded to solve patient issues that aren't obvious. Patient portal and tech with UAB is nice, better than your average doctors office. Not pleased with the $3.50 fee per hour for the UAB highlands parking lot. Patient portal messaging works sometimes but other times messages go unanswered for days. I like the virtual urgent care survey process to get basic prescriptions like antibiotics.

Please let Dr. Delaney know that I appreciate her patience and time. She was very thorough and knowledgeable. The PCT who took my vital signs did great. She used the appropriate blood pressure which was demonstrated by her changing from the large cuff to the small size. She also communicated what she was doing and asked if it was ok to take my vital signs. Great time work. I forgot the lady's name at check out. She was very patience and reviewed the forms that I needed to complete. She made good eye contact and answered all my questions.

It is quite difficult to get an appointment in a timely manner at times of sickness that are not a part of routine visits.
