Efren Alejandro Chavez Morales, MD

Dr. Efren Chavez is originary from Mexico. He is bilingual and speaks fluent english and spanish. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Nephrology and as a Clinical Hypertension Specialist. He completed internal medicine residency at University of Miami Hospital and Jackson Memorial Hospital. Then, he completed a nephrology fellowship at the New York Presbyterian Hospital -Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He has a clinical and research interest in hypertension and in hereditary kidney diseases, especially Alport syndrome and ADPKD.
