Drew Robinson, MD

Dr. Robinson completed medical school at Texas A&M College of Medicine where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and was awarded the 2016 Excellence in Public Health Award by the United States Public Health Service. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, TX and did a Chief Resident year in Internal Medicine with a focus on revamping the educational curriculum and developing an ultrasound curriculum. He then completed a Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine fellowship at UAB and developed a special interest in sarcoidosis, spending time working in the UAB Sarcoidosis Clinic during his pulmonary fellowship. During his PCCM fellowship, he completed clinical research focusing on management of sarcoidosis-associated hypercalcemia and was awarded the J Claude Bennett Award for Excellence in Research by an Associate Fellow: 2024 UAB Trainee Research Symposium. Following the PCCM fellowship, he completed a Sleep Medicine fellowship at UAB. He has a special interest in treating patients with sarcoidosis and sleep disorders.
