Dr. Vee Prattipati, MD

Vee Prattipati, M.D., DABR started his medical training at Siddhartha Medical College in Vijayawada, India and completed his radiology residency at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) in Manipal, India. He then completed fellowships in both Vascular and Interventional Radiology and in Neuroradiology at UAB. He is a board certified Radiologist and Certificate of Added Qualification in Interventional radiology.

Vee Prattipati, M.D. is a fulltime faculty physician of Neuroradiology working as an Associate Professor in the Neuroradiology Imaging Section, Department of Radiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). My primary task as an academic physician is to improve the health and well-being of society, particularly the citizens of Alabama in line with the mission statement of UAB. I embrace this challenge by striving to provide outstanding clinical care through expertise in Neuroradiology Imaging, performance of imaging research that advances medical science and patient care, and teaching to present and future physicians and other professionals that are members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team leading to best imaging practices that improve patient outcomes
