Really am pleased with my cardiologist, Dr. Prime. A very concerned Dr. when you're worried about your health. Makes it worthwhile to drive an hour and a half!

The doctors and nurses are great, I'd rate them a 10. The physical facility, particularly crowding at the elevators and parking, leave a lot to be desired. I've decided to opt for the satellite facilities whenever possible for future visits.

Care was top tier starting from the front desk, in the elevator, with receptionist, nurse, and doctor! The doctor even escorted me to the door with a warm goodbye and safe travels! Highly recommended and glad I made the trip because it was worth the service and care!

I would not go to another Cardiologist other than Dr. Darryl Prime...he is exceptional and intelligent in his field of expertise; he is kind, to the point, and explains your diagnosis in a way you understand, but with concern and empathy. The nurses, Nurse Practitioners, are courteous and knowledgeable, and see their patients in a timely manner. It is a pleasure to be a patient as well as an advocate for Dr. Prime and staff.

I haven't really been in a hospital for several years, except for a couple of day surgery procedures... but you hear the stories. My experience was close to perfect. Outstanding staff, very professional, dedicated, informative, compassionate, kind, attentive, and eager to meet every need of the patient. The support staff are just as committed to excellence, and representing UAB well. Except for ""light on seasoning"", perhaps due to my restricted diet, the food was excellent quality, nutritionally balanced, and tasty. I commented to friends and family that I don't know why people complain, because I felt like royalty, staying at the UAB Resort and Spa. UAB has an excellent reputation, and now I know the reason why, from first-hand experience.
