The Laser Center customer service process is excellent! Everyone there is courteous and efficient. I was in and out in no time. No complaints.

My only criticism is the parking problems. I was late for my appointment because I pulled in to three spaces but was not able to exit the car even after trying to back out of the space and easing closer to the other cars. Dr, Joiner is great. I've been his patient since he partnered with Dr. Levine. In fact I recommended him to several of my family members. The facility is clean and pleasant. The staff is always courteous and professional.

The waiting time was not long. Each staff member was prepared and thorough. I appreciated Dr. Joiner saying eyeglasses would not improve my vision; he could have prescribed expensive glasses and I would not have known it would not help me.

Three words: Doctor Wade Joiner. I'm [age] years old and not prone to ""hero-worship,"" but Doctor Joiner is my hero. His knowledge, skill, and dedication (65 patients a day!!!) put him at the top of the list of professionals (all categories) on your payroll. I thank God that I don't need much of his eye-saving abilities, but there are thousands that do, and he provides them with excellent care.

Knowledgeable physician!

It is absolutely unreasonable to expect elderly people to wait over 2 hours to get into an appointment. After 3 years of once yearly visits, we’ve ended our relationship. My mom is nearly 96. We got to her 1:40 appointment at 1:30 because we are respectful of people’s time and choose to be on time. It was nearly 4pm before she was seen. That is completely unacceptable. There was a lady who got there around the same time, who could barely sit in her wheelchair. She kept sliding down & I was scared she would fall out. I don’t know who does the scheduling, but it’s ridiculous to take up patient’s time like that. Patients matter, and their time is as valuable as your clinic’s.

It is in a good location with plentiful free outside parking. It's a great option to going down to the UAB campus an parking in a deck for which you have to pay.

When I called for appointment, I didn’t have to wait a long time to get scheduled.

From the very start the front desk staff showed real care and concern. Beyond that, the techs, assistants, and medical staff were very friendly and professional. And above all, Dr Joiner was very friendly, and personally escorted me from the lobby to the exam room. ( I've never had that done before, anywhere). He explained the procedure in great detail with picture illustrations, what to expect during the surgery, recovery, and the next visit. The dignity, respect and kindness that I observed, we all wish the whole world displayed. I would highly recommend this office and staff!!!
