I am from out of town and had a major surgery and from the check in to the going home it was very smooth. The hospital has a system that works, everyone went out of their way to make us feel at home and that we were in good hands. It was all very orderly and lots of help from the nurses doctors orderly just absolutely everyone we came in contact with. Would Highly Recommend.

I was very please with most of my care at UAB. I was not pleased when my family was not notified immediately after surgery while I was in recovery. It took several hours for my family to come back to see me.
