About Chad Spencer

Biography

Chad Spencer, MD (Assistant Professor, Transplant Hepatology) completed his internal medicine residency at UAB, gastroenterology fellowship at the University of South Alabama, and transplant hepatology fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is excited to return to UAB as faculty. His clinical interests include hepatocellular carcinoma and living donor liver transplantation.

    Last one was because nurse wouldn’t listen to me about where to get the IV on me. Ended up with multiple sticks before one listened and got it first try.

    Staff were all very nice. Dr. Spencer was wonderful taking time to address all of my questions and concerns.
