They all were very precessional. Explain each part of the 3D X-Ray so I could understand what is going on. Showed concern regarding the medication, advised I call back in a week.

Everyone is very professional and super helpful for treating my tmj. I definitely recommend people to come up to your practice. Please consider opening another office in the Montgomery or Auburn areas. We don’t have any options in this part of the state.

The front desk as well as all the medical staff I encounter there are all very friendly, courteous yet professional. I had to wait a little bit but the physician acknowledged his tardiness, explained the reason (which he didn't have to do) and apologized. And I must say, at the last visit, I arrived early and I was seen earlier than my appointed time. I also like the fact that the physician takes the time to listen to and address all my concerns. AND my treatment is going well -- it's effective.

I had a great experience overall. I arrived early and was seen early. I had to wait a while in between seeing the (nurse?) and seeing the actual doctor, but other than that, it was very positive. They answered my questions, made me feel at ease, and even did a ""no charge"" on my x-rays/scans since those had already been done at the doctor's office that referred me to UAB. I am looking forward to working with UAB in the future.

We've been to MANY children's hospitals over the last 15 years, and this experience did not measure up. The front desk staff were polite & friendly & same for the aide (Sukra) and the nurse (Bailey). However, when your first experience with the staff (this was with Sukra) is unsure how to obtain a weight, not realizing a panoramic X-ray can not be obtained when in a pediatric wheelchair like ours, not having an alternative solution to both of those issues, not knowing what a gtube is or where it's located? That immediately makes you question. Also, this entire experience left us lacking in expectation. Dr. Squier made it clear that UAB uses substandard equipment (ie ""an old ancient X-Ray machine in the OR that should be good enough"") versus doing what is the SAFEST and BEST method of either finding a way to obtain solid, efficient x-rays, or a sedated CT. It seems to us that it would be negligent to not do so otherwise, and we absolutely are not interested in going into a surgery without appropriate images & a solid game plan. We were told by the surgeon that he would perform ""what he was told."" We fully expect a surgeon to first, thoroughly evaluate a patient for themselves based on not only what they see, but also from the input of other professionals, but then do what THEY think is best. They are the expert! If a surgeon is unable, or unwilling, to critically think and decide for themselves what is best? Then that is not the surgeon for us.
