About Benjamin Echols
Biography
Dr. Echols is an Alabama native and no stranger to UAB or Birmingham. He grew up around Gadsden, AL and then came to UAB for his undergrad and medical school training. He completed his residency training on the Gulf Coast in Foley, AL and then came back to Birmingham to join the faculty at UAB. Dr. Echols is experienced in managing chronic medical conditions, acute concerns, and a variety of in-office procedures all the while keeping his patients up to date on preventative medical services. He also likes to have periodic discussions with his patients on their short and long term health goals while using the longitudinal relationships he development with his patient to work together to achieve those goals.
