Research Interests

Dr. Ftaiha's primary research interests focus on advancing care for patients with cirrhosis and autoimmune liver diseases, and exploring risk prediction and outcomes in patients with liver cirrhosis. Through his work, he strives to enhance outcomes and access to care for patients with liver disorders, contributing to the mission of advancing excellence in hepatology at UAB.
