Biography
April Crunk is a Physician Assistant who earned her degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She brings a broad and diverse clinical background that ultimately led her to specialize in urology, with a particular focus on oncology.
Since 2018, April has been a dedicated member of the UAB Urology/Oncology team, where she works closely with urologic oncology physicians to support patients throughout every stage of care—from initial consultation and diagnosis to treatment and long-term follow-up.

Dr. [ ] performed a Nephrectomy on me six years ago to remove a malignant tumor. I have had stable scans each year and felt I received the best of care from April Crunk, nurse practitioner, during this time. Her calm demeanor and communication skills explaining my diagnosis on each visit made all the difference in my recovery. She was precise and thorough during my visits, always prepared to answer any of my questions. Dr. [ ] and Mrs. Crunk are truly the very best professionals in the field of Urology. I have been blessed to know them and appreciate their dedication to medical care more than words can say.

Very prompt attention by staff at appointment time; arrived early as requested, called in right away! Appointment meeting finished and checked out within 15 minutes! Great staff, organized, professional, caring.
