Visit went well overall; however, I did have a less-than-pleasant experience with the lab technician. When I arrived, she did not greet me and immediately asked me to sign my name and date. She remained on her phone while I completed the paperwork and then asked me to hold my personal items while she drew my blood. I have had blood drawn many times, but I was not familiar with the phlebotomist removing the tourniquet while still drawing blood, so that caught me off guard. Overall, she seemed very disengaged and as though she did not want to be there. I completely understand that everyone has bad days, especially on a Monday, but a little warmth and hospitality can go a long way, particularly in a healthcare setting. The other staff members were kind, although I did get the impression that they were going through the motions as well. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit with the NP and appreciated the care I received from her!

The workers were very nice, and even though I’m very young, they didn’t judge me or make me feel uncomfortable. I’m really glad my mom decided to send me there. There was also one lady who kept it real with me. She told me that this journey is going to be hard and that it won’t be easy, but I appreciated her honesty because it helped me know what to expect.

Quickly checked in and seen. Provider was very thorough and a pleasure!
