Dr. Hays Shapshak completed a residency program in neurology at Washington University in St. Louis, followed by a fellowship in neurocritical care and cerebrovascular diseases at the University of California at San Francisco. She attends on the Vascular Neurology service and in the Neurological Intensive Care Unit at UAB.
