Awesome staff, They care and listen to the patient and the patients family

Again, not happy with Dr. Hameed's bedside manner. Maybe she was just having a no good day, and I need to give her some grace. Competent, I'm sure. Friendly, warm, and encouraging -- not at all.

I saw Dr. Anam Hameed. She is such a great doctor. I call her the miracle worker. The very first time I saw her she prescribed a medication that has completely turned my life around. I have a new life because of her. So thankful for her.

The staff and clinicians were very professional and pleasant. Given the nature of my visit, I was made to feel very comfortable and well taken care of. I was super impressed that they are able to efficiently function in such a tight space and the hospital system should really invest in expanding that space to better serve the patients. I hope the staff and clinicians are compensated well for providing such excellent care!

I'm new to UAB for my medical needs & considered this procedure an excellent way to evaluate your system. I'm impressed & quite comfortable using UAB for any future medical issues.

Preop staff was great!

The Doctor and assistant were professional in every way. The doctor asked questions and allowed me all the time I needed to answer. I as well added pertinent information to the conversation. Very pleased.

The entire staff was professional

The staff from checking in to checking out was very friendly and helpful. The wait time to see the doctor was no more than 5 minutes. Everything there was very nice.

Everything was good EXCEPT the doctor never called my husband with the results only provided the results as a written copy at discharge.

It was all good. But the hospital is supposed to call me and set up an appointment for my ablation. I still haven’t heard anything

I felt rushed during the appointment with the doctor. Overall, I felt like my appointment (that I waited 8 months for) was not important and I felt slightly belittled. Tests were ordered, but I did not feel like the more concerning symptoms were addressed. I will not be returning to this doctor.

Generally good, staff were great, had to wait over an hour to go back for the colonoscopy.

Individuals were fine but overall experience was lacking. Had to schedule procedure almost a year ahead, long wait times after arriving super early, long time wait after waking up……

I feel that Dr. Hameed was more focused on the previous complaints in my Hx than the symptoms I was coming in for on the day of the appointment. My main concern was uncontrolled nausea and barely-controlled vomiting, but she seemed focused on fiber management and lower-gut maintenance rather than on being able to eat and drink and keep all of that down. Nausea med frequency was recommended to increase, and a CT was ordered, but I expected testing to make sure there wasn't an infection, or at least some sort of physical examination. Except for the nurse putting on the BP cuff and oximeter, I was not touched during this visit.

The nurses did a great job and explaining everything in detail, as well as the anesthesia team. The doctor did not.

Staff needs to insure putting all information in patient portal. Very displeased

From the time I arrived and thru out my procedure I couldn’t have asked for better service, the parking, receptionist, the nurses and the doctors were extremely nice, courteous and very professional, I couldn’t have received better treatment anywhere else.

Excellent care staff, nurses and doctor. The lady at the check-in desk, however, could have been friendlier and could have tried making eye contact while talking to my wife and me.

Extremely easy procedure and fast ! Pre and post procedure care was awesome ! Great job !

They didnt have any of my records and the doctor did not have any kind of bedside manner

Horrible bedside manner. Didn't listen, or seem to care at all to help me. Just wanted to give me medicine as bandaids, when I've failed all medications prior. Falsified information on my chart claiming to have felt my stomach and did an exam, which didn't happen. Accusations were made about medications I strictly told them I didn't use nor could I use if I wanted to. Charted my vitals wrong. I had a all around Horrible experience with Dr.Hameed. She has no interest in helping patients. Seems to hate her job.

Efficient and caring

Doctor needs to listen. Show some compassion. Be understanding. Hands on. No physical assessment performed. Very standoff. Rushed. Dismissive of symptoms with severe lack of empathy for. Quick to give suggestions, however, slow to implement.

The ladies at the front desk were very professional and very nice. The who staff was professional and answered all my questions clearly.

Dr Hameed takes her time with her patients and explains everything in detail and listens to her patients when asking questions or addressing concerns. Very thankful to have found her, hoping to get me much better soon.
