I happen to be 5 miles of Leeds UAB. It is a great location with wonderful people/doctors/nurses who work there. I go to Kirklin when needed. It is also an amazing place. I’m very lucky to go to these places.

I was able to get the help I truly needed

Dr Meador and his staff always make you feel comfortable, he takes time with his patience. His nursing staff is always kind and caring. I moved an hour away from my appointments, but I will never stop going there because he is a wonderful neurologist and I’m thankful to have met him.

Dr Meador always, without fail, enters the room with a smile, a warm handshake, and TIME. He is not rushed, listens to all my concerns, treats me with respect. He responds to what may be trivial the same way he does with more serious concerns - professional, caring, and even curious. He truly wants to figure out what’s going on. I’d like to clone him in other specialties. :)

Quick and friendly

Dr. Meador has a very good ability to understand how the his patient’s neurologic issues relate with their overall quality of life. I always feel like he’s treated me with respect and not as a number.
