Research Interests
In the field of Breast cancer I have an interest in prevention of local regional recurrence, molecular predictors of local regional recurrence, clinical outcomes and toxicity. Currently I have looked at goals of the choosing wisely campaign for breast cancer treatment in the medicare population through collaboration. My R21 grant investigated the molecular predictors of local regional recurrence. I am now investigating pain management strategies for patients receiving radiation therapy and I also have an interest in diet/lifestyle interventions to improve patient outcomes.
In the field of pediatric malignancies I participate in the COG trials including leukemia (B cell ALL, T cell ALL and AML), rhabdomyosarcoma, Ewing’s, neuroblastoma, gliomas, Wilm’s, and sarcomas.
