About Ekaterina Bakradze

Biography

Dr. Ekaterina Bakradze is an assistant professor in the Department of Neurology, Division of cerebrovascular disease/Comprehensive Stroke Center. She is also an associate director of the Vascular Neurology Fellowship program.
Dr. Bakradze received her medical degree from David Tvildiani Medical University/AIETI Medical School, Tbilisi, Georgia in 2011. She completed a Neurology residency program at the University of Connecticut and served as a chief resident during the last year of training. She completed a one-year Vascular Neurology fellowship and additional year of StrokeNet Fellowship at the Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Dr. Bakradze has been actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows and has received multiple teaching awards during residency and fellowship.
She also serves as a Wellness Champion of the department of Neurology.
